No experience or education required to start! If you're a registered nurse, Physician Assistant or Doctor you can utilize your current license! EMR & EMT classes are held regularly at both Madison College and Southwest Tech. Driver training is conducted in-house.
Plain EMS pays $1.25/hour for scheduled time on-call during the week and $2.00/hour for weekend hours.
Members are paid $15/hour when responding to calls.
Plain EMS requests that members contribute at least 36 hours on-call a month. There is no minimum or maximum shift lengths and members have extremely flexible scheduling options
Plain EMS meets twice a month on the second and last Tuesday of each month.
Active membership participation is required in terms of responding to calls and attending meetings & trainings.
