Lucas can't get enough of helping people out! When he's not working his full time job as an EMT for Arena EMS, he's helping out in his hometown of Plain with us, too! He's been serving on Plain EMS since 2016. Outside of EMS, Lucas enjoys spending time with his daughter and family.

Kay joined Plain EMS in 2001 as an EMT. Kay also served as Chief/Service Director from 2016 to 2021. Kay enjoys spending her time with her kids and grandkids

Keith has been a dedicated member of Plain EMS since 2004 and also serves on Plain Fire. Keith contributes THOUSANDS of hours a year on-call for the Ambulance. He is a First Responder and Driver with us. Keith enjoys spending his summers with his wife at their camper and riding the UTV.

Nate joined Plain EMS in 2025 as an EMR after strong encouragement from his wife Teagan and brother-in-law Trevor. Nate is an engineer by trade and in his free time, enjoys playing with his dogs Millie & Mabel, and playing home talent baseball. He also enjoys fishing, snowmobiling and going on the pontoon with friends.

 Teagan grew up in Spring Green and joined Plain EMS in 2022 after buying a home just outside of town. She joined the service because she had interest in becoming an EMT, and shortly after moving to the area, she saw the posts about needing help. Teagan is a Postpartum nurse and enjoys taking care of newborns and new moms. When she’s not responding to calls, she enjoys spending time with her husband and dogs, fishing at the family cabin, snowmobiling and hanging out with friends.

Taylor joined Plain EMS in 2025 after a few crew members went door-to-door recruiting. She had recently moved from Madison and was looking for a way to give back to her community. Taylor enjoys her free time with her dog and working on house projects. She currently serves as a driver and is interested in becoming an EMT.

Katlin is a Registered Nurse in the Labor & Delivery department at Sauk Prairie Hospital, and an EMT with Plain EMS since 2023. In her free time, Katlin enjoys going for UTV rides with her family and going on warm beach vacations with her family.

Bob, the one who started it all. He was a founding member of Plain Ambulance Service in 1977 and has dedicated his life to the cause ever since. Bob enjoys traveling across the country with his wife to visit family. He is also an avid volunteer with Occupaws, a non-profit that trains service dogs. He raises and trains puppies to be of use for visually impaired residents of Wisconsin.

JoAnn is an Advanced EMT with Plain EMS and Reedsburg Ambulance. She's been with us since 2023. She also works as an animal groomer and enjoys spending her time with her animals.

Ray joined Plain EMS in 2018 and has been a Driver for us since. While Ray has tried to retire, we're able to keep him around with some strong words of encouragement. Ray also serves the Village of Plain as Village President. If that weren't enough, he also volunteers as a driver with Greenway Manor. When he's not serving the community, he's helping his kids with home projects and playing with his grandkids. Ray and his wife also love to travel.

Theodore (TJ) joined Plain EMS in 2023 as an EMR after his brother and sister joined the service and encouraged him to do so as well. He then completed his EMT certification while also attending the law enforcement academy at Southwest Tech. He is a Deputy with the Sauk County Sheriff's Office at the Sauk County Jail. TJ enjoys backpacking, hiking and camping with his German Shepherd, Timber, and ice fishing. TJ has also served on Fennimore & Lone Rock EMS.

Michael joined Plain EMS in 1998, inspired by his father’s service of over 40 years. Mike is also a Captain on the Plain Fire Department. When he’s not fighting fires or responding to ambulance calls, he’s attending or coaching his kids’ various sport activities. If there’s any free time left, he and his wife enjoy a few hours of sneaking away for a few hours to a romantic dinner. Mike and his family also enjoy spending time around the campfire at their camper.
